Stretch Goal: Soundtrack Scoring by Winifred Phillips UNLOCKED!

Greetings, Travelers
It’s International Cat Day, and we’re celebrating by smashing past another incredible Stretch Goal in the Kristala Kickstarter campaign: Soundtrack Scoring by Winifred Phillips!
The Kristala soundtrack will now include new original work from Phillips, the world-renowned Composer behind some of your favorite AAA titles, including Assassin’s Creed and God of War.
We couldn’t be more excited to collaborate with Winifred, who will be composing the music for an entire clan biome in the game.
Each one of these biomes features a unique musical sound—ranging from light and whimsical as you explore the bustling capital city, to atmospheric and ethereal as you traverse the sprawling expanse of the main level, to heart-pounding and intense as you face off against the final boss.
And yet, despite the vastly different emotions and moods each of these gameplay areas presents, the music itself possesses an overarching theme that flows throughout the entirety of the biome and unifies each of the distinct areas and moments that exist within.
We can’t wait to see what Winifred’s able to musically achieve working with an entire clan territory, and we’re incredibly excited to see how her legendary talent helps further bring the world of Ailur to life.
More Exciting Stretch Goals within Grasp!
With our $42k stretch goal surpassed, we're now working towards the next one: our Cat Character Customizer at $46k, which we know you're all incredibly excited about.
And while the 9 Lives Challenge Mode may have come in second place against the Character Customizer during our recent poll, many of you expressed that you still really wanted it to be part of the game.
So good news! We'll be incorporating the 9 Lives Challenge Mode - plus tons of other exciting gameplay challenges - into Kristala if we're able to surpass the next $52,000 stretch goal.

Stretch Goal: Collectible Emotes + Mimic Chests UNLOCKED!

Happy Friday, Travelers!
We’ve officially unlocked our next stretch goal for Collectible Emotes + Mimic Chests!
All backers will now receive 6 unique Emotes - many of which can be found throughout the game as you progress - that will grant you access to hidden pathways, new NPC interactions, and special mimic chests.
When a new chest is encountered in game, you'll use your emotes to try to unlock it. If you choose the right one, the chest will open and present you with an epic reward. Choose the wrong one, and you'll be forced to battle the mysterious creature that lurks within.

So, what’s next?
Our next goal is the very special collaboration with Winifred Phillips, the award-winning Composer for amazing games like Assassin's Creed and God of War.
If our $42,000 goal is met, Winifred has agreed to contribute new original work for the final game. Her legendary genius will help bring the dramatic depth and cinematic tension of Kristala to life.
Cat Character Customizer on Deck
In our last update, we asked for your vote to determine which epic feature would be our next stretch goal: a special 9 Lives Challenge Mode (and other exciting challenges) or a Cat Character Customizer that allows you to play as your cat.
The results are in, and well...we're super excited to share that the Cat Character Customizer was the overwhelming winner amongst backers, so we'll be adding this awesome feature to the game once the $46k funding goal is met.
The customizer will allow you to choose between various fur colors, fur patterns, and fur lengths - and add in any additional visual markings such as scars, jewelry, piercings, and more!
