Backerkit Surveys Issued + Fulfillment Timeline & Project Q&A

It's officially official, Travelers!
The Backerkit surveys have been sent via email to all backers as of 9:00 am EST this morning. If the survey is not in your inbox, please check your spam folder. The email has been sent from Backerkit.
If you still don't see your survey email, please contact us at [email protected] with the subject "Survey not received - Kickstarter" and include your Kickstarter email address.

Fulfillment Timeline as of September 2023
For your convenience, we've prepared a loose Fulfillment Timeline for the Kristala Kickstarter project.
This Timeline will inevitably evolve and change as we go, but don't worry. We'll be sure to frequently update you with changes to the Timeline as soon as we ourselves have them.
- You have between now and October 31st, 2023 to make changes to your pledge via the Backerkit survey, including upgrading your pledge or adding any Add On items to your order.
- After 10/31/23, surveys will be closed, and we'll begin charging cards for any new pledge upgrades or add ons you selected during the Backerkit survey process.
- Rewards will enter into Fulfillment beginning January 2024, starting with Digital rewards.
- We're currently aiming for a Q2 2024 Early Access release for Kristala on PC; console releases will follow the PC release (actual dates still TBD for console releases)
PLEASE NOTE: Alpha Testing for PC will begin sometime before the EA release, and Alpha testing for consoles will begin once the ports for each console have been finalized.
More concrete information about Alpha testing will be shared as we have it, and the Fulfillment Timeline will be updated to reflect Alpha testing info.

To make things as easy as possible, we've prepared a brief Q&A covering our most frequently asked questions. Please feel free to let us know any other questions you may have in the comments.
While many things are still evolving and changing—and we may not have concrete answers for all of your questions at the current time—we're definitely here to help and are more than happy to answer your questions to the best of our ability.
Can I upgrade my pledge or purchase more add-ons?
Yes! You can upgrade your pledge and manage your add-ons via Backerkit and the fulfillment survey process. You should have your survey email already; please check your spam if you don't see it.
When will my card be charged for Backerkit Upgrades or Add Ons?
Your card will be charged for any pledge upgrades or additional add ons made to your pledge via Backerkit during the survey process only after the surveys close on 10/31/23. We'll make an official announcement before we begin charging cards so you can be prepared.
If you do not select any upgrades or add ons during the Backerkit survey process, no additional charges will be processed for your pledge.
How do I claim my reward options?
All rewards will be claimed via Backerkit. Completing your survey will allow you to choose which platform you want your game on, which platform(s) you'd like for your alpha testing keys, which name should be included in the game credits, which in-game items you want to select, and so on.
Once surveys have been closed, digital rewards will be issued via Backerkit and physical rewards will be shipped to you in a single package (except for the Physical PS5 copies, which will be shipped separately once the PS5 port for the full game release has been completed).
All in-game rewards (including the Early Bird Magic Talisman for those who backed the project via an Early Bird tier) will be issued to you along with your copy of Kristala, on the platform(s) you selected.
Do I have to make a Backerkit account to claim my rewards?
No. You can simply use your Kickstarter email address to access Backerkit.
When will I receive the Alpha testing keys?
The Alpha keys will be distributed as soon as they are ready, for each individual platform. Alpha testing keys for PC will be issued first, followed by keys for consoles once each console port has been completed.
Can I get access to the Discord server?
Yes! If you haven't already, please complete our Discord Role survey to receive your Backer-only role and to unlock access to our exclusive, backer-only channels.
We'll begin assigning the exclusive Alpha tester Discord role once surveys have been locked.
How will I be contacted for new updates or survey information?
We will send all updates to your Kickstarter email. Your Backerkit survey has also already been issued to your Kickstarter email address. If you don't see it in your inbox, please check your spam.
